Overview

Fine powder, no screen

The WFJ air classifier mill grinds material to 80 to 800 mesh without a screen. A grading wheel sets the fineness, so oily, sugary and fibrous material does not clog the machine.

It suits roots, stems and leaves, which a regular grinder only reduces to about 60 mesh.

The mill has three parts: the main machine, the auxiliary machine and the electric control box.

  1. Feed

A screw conveyor moves material into the grinding chamber.

  2. Grind and classify

Fast turning blades cut the material. Air force and centrifugal force act on the powder at the grading wheel, and only fine powder passes.

  3. Collect

Fine powder leaves through the cyclone. Dust goes to the pulse dust collector. Coarse powder stays in the chamber for another pass.

Features

Built for clean, even powder

The mill grinds, classifies and collects in one continuous run.

  1. 01

    No screen to clog

Fineness is set by the grading motor speed. The faster it turns, the finer the powder.

  2. 02

    Dust stays in the box

Dust is collected in the dust collection box. The design meets GMP production standards.

  3. 03

    Cooled grinding chamber

A water cooled jacket surrounds the grinding chamber and bearings. An air cooler can be added instead.

  4. 04

    Easy to install

On delivery you connect 4 pipes and 5 motor power lines, then run it.

  5. 05

    Adjustable feeding

An inverter controls the feeding speed.

  6. 06

    Branded components

Motors, electrical parts, bearings and operating parts come from well known brands.

Build it your way

  • Fineness

80 to 800 mesh, changed with the grading motor speed.

  • Cooling

Water cooled jacket, or an air cooler for material that is sensitive to heat.

  • Contact material

The frame, housing, cover and grading wheel are SUS304.

  • Feeding

    Feeding speed set by inverter.

  • Size

Six models from WFJ-15 to WFJ-100.

Questions

Before you order

01

How fine can the mill grind?

It grinds to 80 to 800 mesh. You change the fineness with the grading motor speed. A faster speed gives finer powder.

02

Does it need a screen?

No. The machine classifies powder by air and centrifugal force, so there is no screen to clog. This helps with oily, sugary and fibrous material.

03

Why choose it for fibrous material?

Roots, stems and leaves with high fibre content can only be crushed to around 60 mesh by a regular grinder. This mill reduces them to fine powder.

04

How is dust handled?

The cyclone separates powder from dust, and a pulse dust collector holds the dust. A pulse air hammer shakes the filter bags clean. Open the valve at the bottom of the box each day to empty it.

05

How is heat controlled?

A water cooled jacket surrounds the grinding chamber and bearings. An air cooler can be fitted to limit temperature rise so material properties do not change.
