Overview
Mix and dry in one vessel
The DLH vacuum conical dryer is intermittent, batch operation drying equipment with a single cone vessel. Wet material enters the cone and is heated through the cylinder wall jacket and the inside of the stirrer. A vacuum pump pulls out the water vapour.
Mixing and drying finish in one vessel, which raises productivity. Operation is stable and protects crystal shape, and the top drive stops the shaft seal from contaminating the product.
Heat
The jacket heats the cone wall with hot water, thermal oil or low pressure steam.
Stir
Under vacuum, the spiral stirrer turns the material over and presses it against the heated wall.
Recover
Vapour goes out through the vacuum pump. A condenser and recovery tank can recover the liquid. Open the lower valve to discharge.

01How does the dryer work?
Wet material evaporates by conduction on a heated wall. A stirrer keeps the material moving, and a vacuum pump draws out the water vapour.
02What heats it?
Hot water, thermal oil or low pressure steam in the jacket.
03Can I recover the liquid?
Yes. Use a condenser and a recovery liquid tank.
04Is it good for heat sensitive material?
Yes. Vacuum drying keeps heat and mass transfer going at low temperature.
