Overview
Hot air through a round bed
The GFG fluid bed dryer dries damp granules and powder. Filtered, heated air enters from the bottom of the dryer and lifts the material into a fluidised state, so water evaporates quickly.
The main parts are the air filter, heater, main machine, trolley, dust removing chamber, pipe, fan and silencer.
Charge
Put granules or powder into the charging hopper.
Fluidise
Air is filtered and heated, then passes through the Dutch sieve. The material fluidises under stirring and negative pressure, and dries.
Collect
The fan draws moist air through the dedust bags. Fine powder stays in the bags and is shaken back into the container.

Made for easy cleaning and even drying
The dryer follows GMP design and works under negative pressure.

Round fluid bed
The inside is smooth with no dead corner, and very easy to clean.

More fluidised area
The main machine is 20% higher than a common design. Fluidised height is kept and the bag filter carries less load.

Complete dust removal
Two air cylinders change over alternately. The anti-static filter bag stops material sticking.

Stirring device
Stirring avoids lumps and channel flow in damp material.

Negative pressure
The dryer runs under negative pressure, is easy to clean, takes up little floor space and conforms to GMP.

Pairs with granulation
It is used with the YK swing granulator and the GHL high speed mixing granulator.

02How does the material dry?
